Play station in the past, present, and future
These are types of games played via a television set may also be called video games. Playing station games are created and developed by Sony Computer entertainment in Japan. The playing station one was the first of the three to be created. The playing station one has all the originality and is the backbone where the other playing stations two and three are developed from. There is no big difference in the playing stations, they are only different in a sense that modern playing station two and three are made from the modern technology but everything else is similar to the playing station one (Wolf 75).
The playing station one plays not only the games in its library but they also can play the games from audio CDs. The system making up the playing station one entails a 34 MHZ microprocessor that enables it to process the information very fast. It has 16Mbits for the main memory that controls everything in it. The playing also has 8Mbits for graphic memory, a 24-channel stereo, and a double speed CD drive that gives the machine the ability to transform the information from the audio CD so fast (Stevenson & Melvin 103). It also has a shock analogue that helps it transform the information to an analogue system. Although not so powerful as compared to the playing station two and three one finds it cheaper to purchase the playing station one as the other two are very expensive.
The playing station one has a very large space for the audio CDS and come with numerous games to play. The playing station two is developed in the year 2000 from the playing station one, which was made in 1994 making it a little smaller, less heavy and thinner than the playing station one. It was made along with the Sony Bravia television set making it easier for the people to play it. The people have liked the playing station two and it has become very popular among the people. The playing station surfaced in 2006 and it has become the thing around everybody it more common than the playing station two (Wolf 112). This is so since the playing station three has developed from playing station two.
It is the latest out of the Sony company and is designed in a way that it is wireless and is enabled with the Blu Ray disc and a full high definition resolution graphics capability. The playing station three comes in different types depending on its storage which ranges from 20GB to 320GB which is the latest being sold (Perron 148). The playing station is slimmer as compared to its first developed playing stations. The Sony Company is working to develop the playing station four that is seen from different developments that have been made. In 2012, they developed the super slim which seems to be a way to the coming of the playing station four (Stevenson & Melvin 127). The Sony Computer Entertainment also in 2004 has released the first portable playing stations.
The Sony Computer Entertainment company introduced online games, which first occurred in 2001 in Japan, and 2002 it got to America, and then in 2003 it got to Europe (Perron 124). To this day, the games have become common online across the world. The online games have become common among so numerous people since internet has also turn out to be so much familiar among most people. Internet nowadays may be found in people’s homes that make it easier for one to play at any given time he or she wishes thus reduces costs of one purchasing the playing station equipments and a television set.
The playing station one acted as a revelation to the technology world and since it already happened, there are numerous inventions to take place. This is since technology develops day after day and so it has never missed any surprises for the man. Technology has seen the development of the super slim in 2012 so it will not take long before the playing station four is developed. There are so many systems developed from the playing station one which are majorly called the handheld systems namely the portable playing station, PSP Go model, 2000 and 3000 models E100 model and the playing station vita(2011) these make it easier for one to move about with it may be when travelling (Wolf 143). The other type of system are called the other hardware namely the PSX 2003, Pocket stations, Television sets and the Sony tablet S and P among others.
The hardware majorly includes the other accessories that come along with the playing station equipment. The hardware is not required for one to play the games but one can play without any of them. However, in most cases, people like to play games with the best graphical images. For this reason, the hardware plays a major role in ensuring that the quality of images of the game is high. The other additional function of the hardware in the play stations is enhancing the sound quality. The sound quality of the games and other videos is enhanced by the additional hardware in the play station games (Wolf 125).
