Course: Nurs 6259 Leadership Capstone Practicum II.—Master in Nursing.
Assignment: Preceptor/Faculty Agreement
The agreement should be simple: Tell me who your preceptor is; attach a copy of his/her resume (I will do); provide a description of the project or projects on which you will work during the semester; identify what your role will be on this project; specifically state the days/times you intend to work on this project; keep a log of your Practicum hours; submit a schedule for specific meeting dates with your preceptor (it does not have to be weekly–I just need to see that you will have some regular interaction with your preceptor). I also realize that if you say that I am going to work four hours each Monday and four hours each Friday–there might be some weeks that it will change and that is okay just as long as you get in all your hours. KEEP RECORDS: You will need to access this information when you are writing up your interim and final report.
