The application of appropriate production model within the community college ensures that students are equipped with high level of working technology skills significant to the local industrial community (Regina, 2010). It also ensures optimization of the performance of the system via incorporation of the components of the models within the field manufacture system mode.
Production models in a community also ensure that the students and the community at large adopt appropriate system that is mainly aimed at increasing, shifting, get rid of the need for obtaining new skills and acquaintance and reposition for the faculty members (George, 2006). Despite the existence of the three models of production in nature, our college normally applies the collegial models, which has worked well for its advancement, and progress. This model incorporates the essential knowledge and skills that required in accomplishing the outlines tasks in comparable and contrasting means. However, this solely relies on the faculty members as they might or might not require undertaking the corresponding tasks sets (Regina, 2010).
A collegial production model entails the professional and the collegial association in accomplishment of the important tasks and procedures required to offer the courses. The faculty members normally carry out their work in the departments and via organizational structures throughout the college e learning committees and in collaboration with the education and the learning centers (George, 2006). The informal collegial network section of the community college normally provide for creation and the advancement of the stipulated courses within the college. The model is employed within the community college because the college has a well-established management system in conjunction with the application of the pedagogical approaches that they offer. The approaches are efficient since the college has embraced the modern technology and media. The college is also well established thus having many experience personnel within its premise. The community college has a strong professional association that enhances the informal mentoring of the students and the community members and the advancement of the apprenticeships (Regina, 2010). This production model is utilized in community college since it enables the analysis of the newly introduced courses, which in turn grant the college time for consultation with the experience faculty members in an attempt of comprehending the underlying principle and the history that is surrounding the courses. This model thus allows the enquiry about the introduction of the courses by carry out thorough research on the syllabi, assignments, lectures and the examinations (George, 2006).
The collegial production model gives the fully time employed faculty members chance of cooperation by undertaking the underlying tasks together with little assistance of the other parallel expertise from other departments such as technical support and admittance to computer servers.
