For your course project, you will demonstrate your understanding of the research process by summarizing a research problem using the template provided under Resources as a model for your paper.
Be sure to include the following elements:
• A background of the problem, including the underlying research issues and a brief synopsis of the literature.
• Your research question.
• A statement about the purpose of the study.
• A statement about the significance of the study.
• Your research design, which should include:
o Proposed qualitative or mixed-methods methodology.
o Data collection method.
o Secondary data sources.
o Data analysis plan.
o Ethical protection of human participants plan.
• Assumptions and limitations.
• A definition of terms.
• A theoretical framework.
• A discussion of implications for epistemology and professionalization of the PA field.
This paper should be between 14–16 pages, with a minimum of five references.
