you will read chapters 1, 9, 16, 20.
DIRECTIONS for the task:
At the end of chapter 1, note that there are “quotations”
(these are on p 30 at end of narrative). These are meant to be statements people make WHICH align directly with content of the preceding chapter. Analyzing them using knowledge from the chapter might properly be seen as the goal of each chapter.
Pull your ideas together for our “routine” 3 paper reaction paper…..but……
a) Use the end of chapter quotations as a self-test: if you cannot connect them to what you read, read again…looking for that connection.
b) Visualize a major idea from the chapter in your “mind’s eye”.
c) Imagine you making a decision of some sort: The author thinks that your reading of the chapter will help you make a better decision (maybe).
