Who am i?

This is a question that attempts to acquire an identity and desire for a core sense of themselves. It is however ironical that, as one searches for his identity, he is more delicate to feel about himself. The identity we have is a continuing process that we should clinch for our sense of self with a continuous re-structuring and re-knowing ourselves.

A sense of lack of fulfillment frequently enlightens the question of “who am i?” as one gets involved in the in-depth complication of getting to know oneself; one would succeed in a better way to dedicate themselves to the ongoing process of life (Schwartz). Observing our thoughts, not responding due to old behaviors and becoming available makes it possible for us to model ourselves in the best way we can. It is hence through this that identity that we look for which motivates the trend of our lives, fulfilled by the trend.

Taking a situation where one is in prison for over fifteen years, imprisoned since eighteen years of age. One would lack a sense of experience in life outside the prison. The sense of self would be minimized. The question, “Who am i?” would aggravate a delicate aspect of self that would let one be uneasy of being released. One would not decide to stay in prison till he or she acquires a sense of identity. One would have to allow a new sense of self to flow from a new familiarity.

It is quite necessary for one to acquire a genuine sense of in-depth self so as to know the inner consciousness of one’s thoughts, moods, anticipations and fears. The important thing is to get involved in ones sense of self as supple. The world exists in a manner of an ongoing potential and it is necessary to know that we are really part of it. The objective is hence to acquire the ability, retaining the parts of our existence which does serve us properly and removing the ancient which hinder us.

What is really real?

Reality is the getting to know of one self with options that are filled with anticipation hence bringing one into existence and making one who they are. Reality is based on the human consciousness philosophers are of the thought that several things that are reliable to a human being is the direct and self-knowing knowledge of his understanding. Considering that self-examination allows us to have access to the in-depth being of our existence, Hartshorne states that if we do not have a complete understanding of human awareness, then we are not in a position to know anything that is present; and his belief in thinking will not allow one to comply with the cynical options which no dependable awareness is probable for an individual (Ted and Brock). It is according to Hartshorne that it becomes flawlessly usual and definite that personal human consciousness has to be acquired by everyone as critical sign to the form of the world. Kierkegaarian brings forth another thought that we create ourselves using the options which are available to us and they are attributed due to our existence, which is to be real. It hence becomes a significant belief for all forthcoming existentialist thinkers.

Reality is brought out in our conscious knowledge, it is through our conscious knowledge that that we are able to acquire reality in two senses; there is the awareness itself then there are the objects which we are aware. As for awareness it is for-itself while for the second is for the in-itself. Before everything, we exist by being born, though our essence is not known, relatively, we are our reality on the basis of if and how we decide to respond. It is hence that all of our conscious activities will decide what we become. Our reality is modeled by what we build using our free options and we are accountable for our real self.

How do I act in the face of the really real?

Human beings are not strong-minded and have to accept the definitive obligation for which they really are (Velasquez). Women in most cases are bound for social influences which take away the consciousness of their autonomy and have to manage these hindrances through confident self-assertion on the other side of men; they lead the society and attribute women depending on their own nature. She is just a being who relates to the man. In addition, women have acquired this role and hence do away with their freedom. Women should hence do away with the thought that men model who they are, and that they should try and exist, be real. One hence becomes what we are and hence exists.

What is God?

The reference to God is attributed to our feelings, sense and belief. Some religious thinkers attribute God to be a subject and may not be related to be an object of human thought. The connection between man and God is made possible in worship and not through theoretical aspects. The thought of God is not a creation but as a result of special experience (Haught). The human being attributed to their consciousness, it is hence that any thought about God is related to an experience. Though debatable, God is subject of a realistic concept our human experience.
