- Cultural and Religious System
The global significance of India and China is going through a significant change that is bound to change the new Asia. The economic and social aspects that India and China are going through are bound to alter the regional and international economic, political and social interactions.
The two countries that are Asian Driver of the aspects of life are China and India, where on the other hand though they show a varied trend in growth. China is combined into the external regional world, composed of great division of labour, language and religious systems.
Looking into India, they composed of Aryans which were semi-nomadic warriors that got into the country in the 18th century through the Hindu Kush (Brown, 2005). They took ownership of the Punjab and Indus Valley. It is through this that a new language was formed which brought about a new form of social organization, military methods as well as religious notions and practices in the regions. In this period, Gupta rulers allowed peace to prevail as well as culture. This period was able to notice success due to these acts in arts, and literature. Literature was written in Sanskrit, which is the Indian language; an example is Panchatantra which is a set of 87 fables that was seen in Middle East and further to Europe.
Chinese civilization had a great impact to the Asian region since past time. The special attribute that it has acquired has been due to geography; its position in eastern part and is sealed by mountains, and deserts as well as oceans northerly. Moreover, the Chinese civilization has been made possible to have limited civilized invaders who later took in the Chinese culture and language.
India and China are countries that are famous for their religions which are Hinduism and Buddhism which reached far and wide in the region (Brown, 2005). The Hindu religion arises from a combination of time of the Indus and Aryan invaders. The teachings that come from this religion assert performance of moral obligation to an individual’s duty which is optimum accomplishment one can get in life. They help to instill virtues and norms of Indian manhood and womanhood. In reincarnation; Karma and Dharma teach the respect of life. Hindu practices involve varied practices like yoga, physical and mental discipline so as to connect the body with the soul which is still common today.
In Buddhism, they teach about endurance of suffering and desire to achieve success through a state of mind and being aware of what is in one’s environment so as to acquire a sense of peace also called nirvana. The religion guides one to have the right behaviour and state of mind to everyone, basically it is an ethical and humanistic religion (Brown, 2005). It is based on an aspect of good conduct and is open to individuals of all origins. With the spread of Buddhism it has been able to set up centers of learning and houses for the less privileged people in the society.
- Economic and Political Relationships
India and China represent varied combinations of state and capitalist advancement when related to the industrialized world. The Chinese companies have their source in state ownership that come from huge regionally-based companies that show a complicated and flexible amalgam of property ownership. With availability of affordable, long term capital, these companies area able to operate with varied time setting and is void of risks when compared to the western countries (Kaplinsky, 2007). Indian companies on the other hand are less typical from the western nations. Thought they involve some form of social commitment which is mostly foreign to western nations. Connected to these complicated of ownership and related to regional and central states, Chinese companies work as a part of a bigger strategic push. This is common in China’s success in SSA in looking for energy and products needed to fuel industrial success.
The two countries offer the global stage and advancing economies low wages with a wide range of innovative ability. This shows that they are able to compete in a vast range of prices. There is the thought that China may lose unskilled people because of what it has in store as unemployed people reaching 150m with only 83 employed in the formal sector (Kaplinsky, 2007). Additionally, the future, India has a great resource in terms of its Army who are underemployed is bound to have a huge population when compared to China. However, these two companies are not satisfied to operate in a cheap labor and mature technologies stage. They are looking at investing massively in construction of technological prominence. China as a good example has surpassed Japan to be the second biggest investor.
China and India are connected to varied aspects of regional integration. China is component to a distributed regional set up of production, showing a bigger regional ability. Products that are traded in China come from regional production models. An added proportion of China’ trade is composed of China’s processing of imported products and intermediates (Kaplinsky, 2007). On the other hand, India exports are higher than the national system production so that the spread impacts the growth trends of the two economies.
Lastly, China and India are countries that have contributed a lot to the success of Asia. This has been seen in terms of the religious and cultural setting, language spread and economic success. This has made the countries to have robust economies in the regions and consequently have successful impact globally.
