Roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict

Roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict
C 6: American Jewish Support for Zionism
Nations go to war because of several reasons that could be legit or not. The Arab-Israeli war has legit reasons because each part of the conflict claims ownership of the controversial land. The chief cause of the above conflict was American Jewish Support for Zionism. This conflict seems to develop to one that is more complicated than the previous ones. There is destruction of lives because the conflict keeps developing.
The emergence of the Zionist movement in the late 19th Century initiated this historical conflict. The Zionism phenomenon involved groups of the Jewish community whose agenda was to establish a home in Palestine. This phenomenon also allows the Jewish to display the intensity of their nationalism by participating in Arab-Israeli war. The support for Zionism that American Jewish display facilitates the growth of this conflict (Hanel, 2007).
This support has also led to the intensification of the same conflict. For example, the introduction of Gaza in this historic conflict further complicates the war. This is because of the peace talks that continue to fail even in recent times. Almost all the participants in this war present extremely strong arguments that are religious. The belief of the Jews encourages them to keep participating in this war. The support that the Jews have from the American Jewish creates appropriate ground for development of the conflict (Tessler, 2004).
During this conflict, some states that are entirely for the Jews engage in extreme fights. Theodor Herzl is a Jewish state whose name intensifies the conflict. Jews argue that the translation of the name of the above state refers to their promised land. This understanding of the promised and that they have created the Arab-Israeli conflict. This is because they suppose that it would be religiously immoral for them to lose their sacred land to foreigners. They fight for the “Promised Land”, and no intensity of peace talks seems to stop them Tessler, 2004).
Zionists take part in the fight because they also understand that they must support Israel in claiming the ancestral land. This results in a war because two other religions also claim the land that the Jews do. The teachings of Zionism encourage its respective followers to protect their heritage. This is because their success in protecting this controversial land will ensure that Christ returns. It is a deep inspiration for the war because all Zionists wish for the return of Christ (Tessler, 2004).
The support for Zionism is also influential in the development of the conflict because it encourages a counter attack by the Arabs. These Arabs realize that they must fight back against Zionism. The level of attack that the Zionists register causes the conflict. It creates a counter attack that turns in to a war that never ends. Every nation seems to be defending significant spiritual issue in this war. The matter of nationalism is also evident in the war because of the manner in which individual nations attack (Hanel, 2007).
Zionists believe that Abraham had legit ownership of this land that they fight for up to date. The conflict is unsuitable for any development that can occur in the nations. This necessitates the end to this war through religious understanding.
