Scenario: Case conceptualisation

Select one of the case study scenarios provided on the StudyDesk and demonstrate the application of GRIP response framework as described in the ResponseAbility resources provided. The focus of the application is on the social emotional wellbeing dimensions of the case. These include, identification of a mental health problem and or possible illness, emotional disturbance, behaviour problems, family disruptions and related issues.
The task is asking you to consider how you would do a contextual analysis of a case in order to determine some possibly helpful interventions.
Your response should include the following:
• An introduction providing a brief rationale of the importance of social emotional welling issues in contemporary educational contexts.
• What do you think might be the role of a GO or SC in this scenario and what is your justification that view?
• A description of the case context that includes a rationale for your concerns. Provide a brief introduction to the scenario. Not a blow by blow description of the video but a synopsis.
• Apply the GRIP framework to the case outlining in each element your interpretation of the reasoning behind the element, guiding principles that apply in each element and specific strategies that apply.
• A reference (10-20 references) list in APA style.
• The task does not require you to critique the teacher or other actors in the scenario. You need to take the perspective of a helping professional who is asked to assist in the case
