You are to write a magazine-style, long-form article about the topic you’ve been researching throughout the second half of the semester. You have obtained the skills throughout the semester to do this well.
As far as sources go, it should include:
•5 human sources
•10 other sources (internet, books, etc.)
You should also have created a presentation and hand-out for the class, answering the following:
1. How did you decide on writing this story?
2. How did you land your interviews? Who did you call? Did you interview by email, phone, text, etc? Which interviews worked best for the project?
3. Where did the rest of your information come from?
4. What’s the most important thing about your story?
5. Where would you pitch this story? What publications?
6. Who is the most important character in your story?
7. How can the issue in your story be solved?
•You should hand at least one page typed, to me, answering all eight questions above.
Presentations should be no longer than 5 minutes.
