Requirements:
1. You will be required to give 3 brief (2 to 3 pages) reaction papers to readings in the Taking Sides book (TS) and articles on BlackBoard on applied ethics. Each paper will be worth 15 points. You will choose one of the issues being discussed that day in class and deal with it in the following manner:
A. 3 points – Identify the issue and briefly explain each author’s position on the issue.
B. 3 points – Advance a criticism of one of the author’s positions.
C. 3 points – Talk about what that author might say in reply to your criticism.
D. 3 points – Talk about your rejoinder to that reply.
E. 3 points – Follow the format – 2 to 3 pages, typed, one-inch margins, double-spaced, 12 point font; properly cite the texts to which you refer; paper in on time.
