Most women are known to love men with cubes. This mean that they love men with built bodies a sign of protection. In addition, men also feel good when they have strong muscles and built bodies. Such men have the perception that they look handsome and strong. With this perception, there have been various discussions regarding muscle enlargement, also known as muscle hypertrophy. Questions have been raised with the aim of trying to determine the best way of building muscles without over straining the body. However, research is still on to determine how the body can respond to muscle overload without affecting the person in question.
Several interactions are usually involved in muscle hypertrophy. It does not occur just once when a person is training. Muscle hypotrophy occurs differently in different species. The vital aspect to consider in muscle hypertrophy is increase in the size of muscle fiber. The increase in muscle size is identified by the increase or thickness in of muscle diameter. For hypotrophy to take place in the cellular level two types of contractile proteins that increase in level, they include actin and myosin (Lee, 2012, p.1). In addition, a fluid known as sacroplasm freely increases and combines with noncontractile connective tissue within the muscle tissue sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. Under such a condition, when training is intense, the muscle is overloaded. Therefore, to make sure that during lengthening of the muscle the muscle increases sacromeres that help the muscle fiber to lengthen as well. In the end, this is the process by the muscles as it links with other components to make sure that that it does not cause any nerve break.

Muscle hypotrophy cannot occur independently of the muscle fiber. Other satellite cells play an enormous role in strengthening of human muscles. Currently specialists in muscle hypertrophy have different opinions on the involvement of satellite cells. However, until now there is no clear understanding of how the muscles adopt to the overloading stimuli in the muscle. Therefore there is need to understand the physiology of muscle hypotrophy. The physiology of muscle hypotrophy involves the combination of three things that is reaction of immune systems, satellite cells and growth factor proteins. However, we shall consider the involvement of satellite cells and the importance in fiber formation and muscle enlargement.
According to current muscle expert Schoenfield, he carried out a short research on the role of satellite cells in muscle hypotrophy. The research proved that, satellite cells facilitate growth. The do this by repairing and maintaining damaged muscle tissues. Whenever people train or carry heavy weights they may end up overstraining their muscles. These may cause trauma to the muscles. Satellite cells are deemed dormant; however, they become active once they receive information of damaged muscle due to overloading. In addition, whenever the satellite cells detect an injury or trauma on the muscle fiber they multiply. In the end the, cells produced acct as a remedy and build up on the damaged tissue to make it stronger. The most important thing is that the cells combine with the damaged muscle fiber and produce a nuclei protein that regenerates the muscle fiber.
In conclusion, satellite cells are important in muscle hypotrophy. However, it is vital to note that, the process of cell regeneration and fusing on the damaged muscle fiber does not mean that there is creation and formation of more fiber muscles. Instead, they increase the number of contractile protein that eventually increases the size of the muscle.
