In the introductory paragraph you are to set up the issue and then lead into an analytical-thesis (from-to-because) statement. Which means you start at the FROM of the subject, how it moves TO something, then the BECAUSE, which is why it happened. The body of the paper is to substantiate your tight, precise, and clear thesis.
The paper should integrate the two concentrations of Business, and English. You must research a subject that relates to 19th century England integrating the two disciplines of Business, and English into the paper. One component of the thesis can extend outside of 19th century England, but one component MUST be solidly fixed in 19th century England-meaning the from, or to, or the because part of the thesis.
Must provide a minimum of 7 sources (2 books minimum and 2 academic journal articles minimum). Your resource materials can include 2 (maximum) internet sites, but those sites must be scholarly/academic sites. Wikipedia is not a bibliographical source.
Must have one source which relates generally to the subject of interdisciplinary studies (e.g., Barbara Hursh, Paul Haas, and Michael Moore, “An Interdisciplinary Model to Implement General Education.”
Must find one article in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies or the Journal of Interdisciplinary History that relates specifically to the interdisciplinary nature of your paper.
