Suicidal Behavior in a National Sample of Older Homeless Veterans-You should prepare a critique of no more than 450 words that will be posted in the assigned weekly forum/discussion area where you will respond to class colleagues regarding your analysis. Each article critique should be posted as a new discussion in the assigned forum week not later than Monday of the week it is due.*Please be sure to post the name of the article you selected in the discussion where you will be presenting it as soon as possible. More than one student may critique the same article.
• Summarize the content of the article – identify highlights that will enable your colleagues to understand the topic better. Be sure they are your highlights (do not copy the any part of the abstract or text of article).
• Critique the quality of the work. Describe pros and cons of the work, including pros and cons related to assumptions, methods, statistical analysis, conclusions, etc.
• Explain how your article adds to your understanding of the topic for that week — provide your own conclusions (not the conclusions of the author) on the contribution the article makes to the topic and the theory and practice of health care research.
• A part of your grade will be dependent on your management of the LEO forums/discussion and your timely response to questions and comments. Please provide a summary of the discussions relating to your paper review on the closing day of the forum. Be sure that your summary mentions all of the points brought out by your colleagues’ discussion.
