In a seamless posting incorporate the following questions into your initial posting:
Survey three noncriminal justice people (coworkers, family members, etc.) to discuss their views of the correctional system. Ask your interviewees at least three questions related to the system. A few questions you may want to consider are:
What they believe inmates should be allowed in prison.
What are their views of the current correctional system?
With what type of activities and amenities should inmates be provided? Why?
What are their views of parole?
What rights should criminals have?
What are their views on sentencing philosophy?
How do their ideas compare to your own views on this subject? How did you respond to your interviewees? Share any key points of your discussion.
Have your views changed throughout this course or throughout your educational experience?
Student expectations for Forum questions:
Your initial Forum posts require a minimum of a 500 word substantive response.
Original responses to the Forum group question need to be substantial and significant supported by at least one additional scholarly reference that goes beyond the course textbook. Students should be using the Library to search for peer-reviewed journal articles that help support their argument. The in-text citation and references will be formatted in APA Style.
