There are 2 parts in this assignment.
A. Analyse the use of symbolism and/or allegory in the two Undead ZOMBIE stories, and how symbolism and/or allegory help understand and analyse these stories’ themes Please answer in two paragraphs – one per story.
B. how would contrast and/or compare the use of symbolism and/or allegory in these zombie stories to the use of symbolism and/or allegory in any one vampire story we had previously studied. Please answer in one paragraph.
The 2 zombie storeies are: “The Dead” by Michael Swanwick and “This Year’s Class Picture” by Dan Simmons
The vampire story to compare to the zombie stories: “Kissing Dead Boys” by Annette Curtis Klause, from the book, The Restless Dead
