The 0.7(mm) pencil is a type of a mechanical pencil with a physically extendable lead pigment, which ensures that the lead continues to extend even after it becomes blunt. This pipe gives the user excellent vision of the lead each time after the use. This creates both an aesthetic value to the pencil while still giving the user an opportunity to view the lead (Madsen & David, 75). Finally, the top cap of the pencil holds the eraser of the pencil. The top cap is made of plastic material and is designed in a manner that holds the eraser permanently to the rest of the pen.
Conclusively, it is evident that the pencil is a brilliant invention in both the writing and drawing world. The pencil has an excellent look that appeals to the user due to its design and aesthetic value. The weight of the pencil is also another factor that differentiates it from the rest considering that it is only 18g. The brass body of the pencil is crucial to its durability while the indicator has a knurled metal casing. The guide pipe of the pencil gives the user an opportunity to see the amount of lead remaining in the pen. Finally, the pencil also comes with an eraser that is necessary for the efficiency of the pencil. This pencil is practical and useful for the field of technical drawing and writing, and it is these features that contribute to the growing popularity of the pencil amongst its users.
