The research portion of the project will require you to perform comprehensive research on two events that has occurred in the past, one natural and one man-made disaster. You will identify lessons learned from the past disaster or disasters relative to the influence of leadership and ethical issues, compare and contrast the leadership styles utilized in at least two different disaster incidents, and identify the leadership styles that were used and the ethical values that guided the leader or leadership. In addition you will compose a personal leadership philosophy to guide your work in the emergency management field that is compatible with your personal and legal standards.
