The Forces of Light and Darkness of the Factory System

The Forces of Light and Darkness of the Factory System In Chapter 3, Wren and Bedeian outline the cultural environment and the impact of the factory system during the Industrial Revolution in both Europe and the United States. Many have heard of the criticisms of this period (poor working conditions, child labor, presumed low wages), however, few have heard the other, more positive side of this time in history expressed by our authors. For this activity, I would like for you to create a table which outlines both the “forces of light” and the “forces of darkness” of the factory system. Discuss both the negative and positive (opposing/contradicting) views of this historical time period. To help format your table, start with two columns (light and dark) and create rows for the different characteristics that you will discuss (e.g., wages, child labor, etc.) [see below], and then brielfy explain each viewpoint. light dark wages child labor Include an additional brief explanation within your document if necessary. Please create this in Microsoft Word. The link for the recorded powerpoint Chapter 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE2-SJw6bis&feature=youtu.be
