Task Description
In today’s society, social media (ie Facebook, Linkedin etc) has had an influence on both recruitment and selection methods. This essay will focus on selection only. Using Chapter 8 (External Selection 1) and further reading lists on Moodle, as your guide; examine the influence that social media may have on selection methods.
Your essay should cover, but not limited to:
1. The influence of social media as a selection technique in contemporary society
2. Initial Assessment / Selection Methods
3. Ethical considerations
4. Legal Issues
5. Conclusion / Recommendation
6. It is recommended that this essay is supported by at least 10 peer reviewed journal articles as references.
