Mongrel COLOR SEPERATION 1997 project – analysis

Give a detailed analysis showing that you understand its historical context, its intendent meaning and/or function, and the ways in which it has been interpreted. Develop your analysis by giving a personal response to your example, which is supported by at least one of the key readings (in attachment IV The Net.pdf). Finally summarise the main points made, and include a bibliography that demonstrates your research for the essay.

Examples of a case study include a single image, a selection of images by a single artist, a campaign or a project. What makes a good case study is a focused choice of an image or set of images that relates clearly to the issues you want to discuss in relation to the course.

For example, possible topic could include a single body of photographic work discussed in relation to its photograph/photographer/photo-project that directly engages with the internet…
