The Mind
Mind refers to anything considered responsible for an individual’s thoughts and feelings and can define one as living. The common challenging questions that philosophy attempts to answer such as: “How do you know that you are alive?” goes round into circles and finally finds their answers in the mind. This is attributed to by the perfect response that regards one as living because he or she thinks and thought is the activity of the mind. The mind is therefore as important as life. The life is tied to the mind because the mind determines the thoughts of an individual which in turn dictates the personal behavior. This is what life is all about.
The mind is considered important in accordance to the perspectives and the scenarios whose effects’ manifestations are based on the actions of the mind. In academics, the mind is what ranks the individuals distinctively. The ability of the mind to actively search for information that had been kept before and retrieve it so that an individual can put it down matters a lot. This varies from one individual to another and is what distinguishes the poor the average and the students that are considered as the above average. Even though an individual can involve into many activities such as reading or join a higher institution of learning, the sole aim is to improve the mind.
The mind is also important in that it put all in their respective positions according to their capacities without misplacement. The mind fixes all that is present on earth into a set of balance. As all people can claim of having dissimilar character traits, it is difficult to qualify as either good or bad. The answer in this particular case is not important but what might be of greatest importance is the fact that there is need for diversity to pave way for balance. The mind therefore creates the vital requirement among the individuals that shape and practically mold the earth. Without the diversity there cannot exist the current high level of flexibility as many can be static from the individual level to the professional level.
The governance of region and the heed to the laws of a given land has its deepest roots in the mind. The mental activities are liable to put one in any direction as to combat, be compliant to the rules of the land or question the laws. These may either be done peacefully or violently depending on what one regards as the actual point of satisfaction. Those who find it easy to adapt to a set of given rules may neither be considered nor have eyes set on them no matter of the compulsion involved. To the individuals who find it necessary to default the rules may land into prisons or other places of equal merit. Physically, this can manifest suffering. But the truth lies in the mind in that it is meant to transform the mind into a low abiding one.
The question of where our mind is can accurately be answered by a sole mention of life. The mind is wholly life biased. This can is evident in the sense that all the activities performed by the individuals whether repeated or not are coordinated by the mind. By reasons the mind primarily performs the activities that are geared towards the protection and the improvement of life. For instance one individual might go out to farm in order to obtain food in the long run. On the same note a student might work hard in all levels of learning not only for the advancement of the mind but also to get better opportunities for employment. All these are for the betterment of life. The mind is therefore in our life.
