Based on the novel, “The Bean Trees” by Barbara Kingsolver.
The Essay is to be 5 paragraphs (introduction, 3 body paragraphs, conclusion)
My hope is to show how these 3 symbols develop the personality and growth in more than one character in the book. If it is better to only use one character then that is fine but that character will need to be identified in the thesis.

Quote 3 – page 40 – An empty tire couldn’t possibly explode, I reasoned, so I sat Turtle down in one of those.
