Issues in Maternal and Child Health Unintended Pregnancy Assignment Instructions: Unintended pregnancies are often associated with a vast array of negative outcomes to women, children, and society. Maternal and child experts have long proposed that reductions in unintended pregnancies could result in improvements of a number of social, economic, and health indicators.
