Mission: create a fictional character from the earliest days of US history on the American continent.
Task: tell the story of her life and what happens to her as she’s caught up in the events of American History. Describe/analyze his or her life in that historical time. You are going to “make up” a real character and put them in “real” historical time and place. Research and get accurate description of the times in which your fictional character grew and interacted.
What was the family life like, social/economic status, education level, social goals, interactions with society, politics, etc. Need a bibliography to show the “reality†of character and the times in which he/she interacts. Consistency in your handling of your character are major importance in the grade.
