Part One: Draft a 3-4 page essay where the claim is either a claim of fact, a claim of value, or a claim of policy and where the claim is environmental sustainability related/focused. Whatever you choose to focus on for your essay, you must use WSU as at least one example of something related to your topic. There is significant information on the WSU Facilities Management website and if you need more specific information, let me know. Understand that a claim of fact objectively analyzes one or more elements of the essay while a claim of value evaluates one or more elements. One would explain the types of support used in the essay, for example, while the other would evaluate the effectiveness of the support. A claim of policy asserts that specific course of action should be instituted as solutions to problems.
Using MLA format, include at least three resources–paraphrase, summary, or direct quotation–that are available via the WSU library online or through WSU Facilities Management. AND include an annotated bibliography of your research. The essay must be 3-4 pages in length in Times Roman or Arial 12 pt font, double spaced with 1 inch margins. In the upper left-hand corner, single spaced, please write your name, date, English 2010 and Essay Draft #2. Please give your paper a title.
Submit your essay draft in this assignment dropbox no later than Friday, March 20th, at 11:59 p.m. MT. (Earlier is better.)
