Task
The assignment should cover the responses of the following items:
1- Write your 4 hypotheses in your study.
2- Write the independent variables and dependent variables in your study.
3- Develop a clear, conceptual definition of what you are trying to measure including any dimensions.
4- Explain how to operationalize your variables.
5- You can use established measures that exist for your variables providing that you cite them. These may be standardized questions used on previous surveys, or a composite measure published in articles.
6- Decide whether to use just one item or indicator, or composite measure.
7- Explain attributes of each variable.
8- Explain whether your measure is exhaustive and mutually exclusive.
9- Explain how you have assessed the validity of your measures.
10- Explain how you have assessed the reliability of your measures.
Instructions
1- The word document will have “.doc” extension.
2- The paper must not be more than 3 double-spaced excluding references with 1-inch margins, and must be typed in Times New Roman, 12-font size.
3- The paper must be formatted in the APA citation method. You will use the American Psychological Association (APA) style for written assignments, as appropriate. APA guidelines can be found at http://libguides.rutgers.edu/writing
4- Papers must be submitted via blackboard.
5- To submit the paper via blackboard, click “Assignment 3 (Variables and Measures)”, attach your paper and click “submit”.
