When it comes to problem solving in the organization, a nurse manager will take the shortest time possible to address the situation at hand. Any other staff would take much time in the process of identifying the problem and coming up with proper mechanisms to address the problem. Decision making is the final step after problem solving; so decision making is faster when problem solving is handled efficiently. This can be achieved simply, in an organization through the help of a nurse manager.
Critical thinking is another function that converts the general information to more specific and finer details which are logical for the organization to work on. A nurse manager will help the firm move faster in terms of goals and security. The organization now takes no or little risks in all its activities and transactions (Huber,2006).
