The group essay should include brief background information on the company the group looks at. It should also include the group thesis, which will state the group�s view on whether the policy and practice of the corporation they research meet the moral standards (essentially, answer to question # 2). The balk of the essay should be dedicated to the defense of the thesis. That is to say, provide reasons in support of your verdict of the company�s ethical standards. The case for your thesis (i.e., the argument in support of your thesis) should be guided by the answers to the questions 1, 3, and 4. So, do not answer the questions directly in a question and answer format, but formulate your reasons in support of the thesis, using these questions as angles of view (as guides).

2. How does the corporation you research balance its ethical responsibility toward its shareholders and toward society?
3. Does the corporation you research meet the moral standards you established above?
