The windshield survey assignment/community assessment is a 6-8 page paper that is an evaluation of your community or a local neighborhood. This assignment will require you to go into your community: you will need to take public transportation; have someone else drive you while you take notes; or plan to stop frequently to write down what you see (refer to page 409-410).\n \nPlease note this paper must be supported by a minimum of 5 current scholarly references (within the past 5 years).\n \nYou will make observations and collect data that will help define the region, any changes, the stability, and trends that have an effect on the health and well-being of the community.
