Your local Drug Action Team (DAT) has asked you to provide a report critically analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of locally funded drugs and alcohol agencies utilizing Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous as an adjunct to their services. The DAT is particularly interested to know your views on whether such an arrangement would enhance the accumulation of recovery capital and thus improved outcomes for people with drug and alcohol problems.

•This is a report format and so headings and sub headings are acceptable to use;
•A report should have (1) analyse the ways in which funded agencies work and the differences with AA/NA, and (2) discuss whether it is possible to bridge this divide.
