Abortion is a murder scientifically and physically

The goal of the observed research is to analyze in details reasons for abortions and its aftermath in the society. For year’s abortion has been a crucial problem among religious believers and the society as a whole, both the religious believers and traditional customs do not approve for the existence of abortion as a safe operation for any reason whatsoever. They perceive abortion to be a case of murder whether scientifically or physically. Abortion refers to the execution of pregnancy by the mother. It can be surgically performed or traditionally carried out. Fetus refers to the unborn child in the womb, in its early stages; fetus is the victim of abortion actions. Abortions carried out for over decades now, with the victimizer giving a diverse of the rationale for their dealings. Currently some states have authorized abortion with valid reasons, but a majority of many states still believe abortion is a crime and therefore should not be performed. The research will look at details why some people are in support for abortion while others strongly disagree with the act abortion, for healthy and religious reasons. This research seeks to answer the following questions; reasons for carrying out abortions, the advantages of abortion, the disadvantages of abortion, the effects that come along with abortion, is abortion a crime? Are there measures that deal with law breakers who perform abortion acts? Increased pregnancies, what are the causes and how control them.
Haney (2008) stated that, abortion is a controversial issue in the community with some people supporting the operation and others strongly disagreeing. There are various reasons that must support the necessity of carrying out an abortion, for instance; abortion can be carried out if the fetus endangers the life of the mother or mainly for healthy purposes, in order to protect the mother for healthy reasons doctors can approve for abortion. An ectopic pregnancy automatically requires abortion to protect the life of the mother, since ectopic pregnancy is dangerous if left to mature. Some people undergo abortion because of their age; if a teenage girl gets pregnant she seeks for abortion to prevent her parents and elders from finding out. Some take the dangerous measure if the pregnancy is as a result of extra-marital reasons, and the wife seeks to prevent the husband from finding out. Others carry out abortion for financial reasons they argue that they do not have enough finances to bring up the child. Others perform the inhuman act arguing that they do not wish to be single mothers; others argue that unwanted pregnancy interferes with their jobs or schoolwork. Some parents compel their children to carry out the shameful act arguing that they do not want to be shunned from the society. Some partners force their spouses to undergo abortion after denying responsibilities for the unborn baby. Some teenagers prejudiced by their fellow peers, to embark on the act. Reasons vary depending on the situation that faces the mother others carry out abortion, for instance, the pregnancy conceived through rape or incest. Rape cases may be disturbing to the mother thus the reasons for carrying out the act.
Heard & Storer (2006) termed abortion as a criminal act against the laws of humanity and God. For many years, human rights groups have been advocating for a law that protects the unborn child, and give reasons why abortion is against God’s wishes. Stated that abortion should not be legalized as the embryo deserves to live and it is a life from the day it conceived. Life is crucial and needs to be addressed and protected even though the pregnancy is likely to lead to discomforts to the mother. They argued that God is the giver of life, and he is the only person that can take life away. People should not take matters in their own hands. Abortion termed by many religious leaders as a sin, claiming that children are gifts from God and thus their life should not be early terminated. The fetus has all rights to life like any other human being and thus should be allowed the chance to live (Heard & Storer, 2006).
According to Reagan (2005) abortion has negative outcomes to the mother, for instance the mother can experience some complication during the whole operation process, and this can result in the demise of the mother. Complications experienced during abortion can be excess bleeding. Internal injuries and the mother can experience high-blood pressure that may lead to loss of life. The mother can also experience post abortion complications as psychological torture where the mother feels like the unborn child is haunting her. A poorly performed abortion may result to damage of a mother’s uterus leading to complication in future pregnancies and can sometimes lead to disabilities of later children. Barrenness is also a negative effect of abortion. Haney (2008) stated that, the young females not ready to be mothers can experience complication due to their immature organs leading to death. Abortion may lead to complications in a woman’s womb for instance, infertile fallopian tubes that may prevent a woman from bearing children in future, destabilized cervix, uterine disfigurement and injury to the woman’s reproductive system which may result to barrenness. Other complications may be constant miscarriages, stillbirths, premature births, hysterectomies it may also lead to increased tubal babies. Increased and constant abortions can lead to breast, uterine and cervical cancers in women which are currently number one disease taking the lives of young women. Recent studies have discovered that the increased abortions in America conceded unlawfully, illegal abortions increases the chances of complications in health and increased internal infections. Before an abortion procedure takes place women should be keen about or rather should never think of it as abortion are selfish and an unfair measure (Breen, 2008).
There exist continued arguments with some contending that abortion is murder with others arguing that it should be legalized in many states. Those justifying for existence of abortions, for instance Barro (2003) argued that it permits the woman to acquire self determination and power giving them greater freedom of choice about their bodies. Continued abortion prohibition has led to increased illegal abortions which are harmful to the health of many women. Increased prohibitions led to some women in developing countries to use self induced abortions which has proven to be extremely dangerous. Contraceptive use is not a reliable way of reducing unwanted pregnancies; the contraceptives are not widely spread so some people can not access the contraceptives. The people in favor of abortion argue that abortion is an easy way of reducing overpopulation especially in developing countries where population increase is a serious problem. Siegel (2008) argued that, abortion is immoral and does not respect religious believe. Some traditional cultures do not allow abortion too believing that it is a denial of life to the fetus, traditionally children are blessings from God and thus should be cherished no matter the circumstances of the pregnancy. A woman seeking for abortion measures said to be selfish and valued the pleasures of the world in comparison of the unborn child. In the globally developed world unwanted pregnancies and abortions should be highly avoided. Enough information is available of how to prevent unwanted pregnancy and the availability of contraceptives may help to curb the increased unwanted pregnancies cases and abortions. They argue that people should be responsible for their behavior no matter the circumstances as the fetus did not implant itself in the womb (Joyce, 2010).
In conclusion, abortion is outright murder both scientifically and physically. If mothers aborted us where could have been, the fetus has all rights to live, authorizing abortion for whatever reason is inhuman and selfish. According to Waughfield & Burckhalter (2002), abortion interferes with the health of the woman; leading to increased deaths among young women and abortion increases immorality. Abortion allowed, immoral behavior on rises since the victims are aware of the laws supporting abortion measures. Durand (2009) suggested that, abortion complications can make a woman develop various complications that may cause barrenness and decreased number of births threatening population. Abortion should strongly be avoided as it endangers the life of the mother and the fetus, legalizing abortion is an inhuman act, the effects of abortion far out way the reasons for carrying out abortion procedures. The government should focus on preventing the arising number of abortions unless in extreme cases where the life of the mother endangered (Zastrow, & Kirst-Ashman, 2009). As much as abortion is widely illegal there are some states that allow the abortion procedure, for the countries that legalize abortion, various principles should be laid down on how the whole procedure will occur. The individual should be given the right to make the last decision and the individual should be of the right mind. The medical practitioners should ensure enough advice given to them before embarking on the victimizing act. The world is still fighting against abortion as it encourages immorality and should be treated as a crime against humanity (Reagan, 2005).
A lot of studies focus on the pros cons and effects of abortion, but the writers failed to address the consequences of those found in illegal abortion acts the studies failed to recognize the impact of abortion to teenage girls. All studies have majorly dwelt on women and abortion, whereas the pregnancy affair is a responsibility of both women and men. The men should be held responsible too thus helping the woman in making crucial decisions. The studies failed to analyze how unwanted pregnancies can be controlled other than using contraceptives. More research need to be done on the following areas; what are the awareness programmes in place that teach teenagers the dangers of abortion? Abortion is it a responsibility of women only? What should doctors who practice illegal abortions be done? What should the government do to ensure the number of increased unwanted pregnancies reduced? Are there measures in place that prevent a girl child from getting early pregnancy? If the above issues are thoroughly researched, abortion cases will be majorly condensed reducing the number of barren and cancerous women.
