Your assignment for this short paper is to reflect upon the philosopher who has most challenged the way that you thought about yourself and the world prior to taking this course. You can focus on any philosopher, and any aspect of their thought, be it metaphysical, epistemological or ethical. The choice is yours.

The paper should articulate: 1) What you thought or believed before taking this course, 2) What the philosopher that you chose argues, and 3) How you plan to integrate this philosopher’s insights into your worldview (if at all).

You have to summarize the philosopher’s arguments, while also personally engaging with them. This is an opportunity for you to show me not only that you can reproduce one of the philosophies or arguments that you have encountered in the reading and in class, but also to begin to think about what your own philosophy might be.

You should pay close attention to spelling and grammar. Make sure that you turn in a paper that you have proofread and that is free from errors.

My paper should be three pages long (12 point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, standard margins).
Thanks
