SAUDI ARABIA
The Saudi Arabia state began in the central Arabia about 1750.A local leader Muhammad bin Saud joined forces with the Islamic reformer Muhammad Ab d Al Muhammad to create a new political entity. Over the next 150years the fortunes of Saudis family rose and fell severally as Saudis r rulers contended with Egypt the Ottoman empire and other families for control on the peninsula. The modern Saudis kingdom was founded by the late king Abdul Aziz Al saud(known internationally as “son of Saud”).
The central institution of the Saudi Arabian government is the monarchy ruled by the sons and the grand sons of king Abdul Aziz Al Saud. And that the holly Quran is the constitution of the country which is governed on the basis of the Islamic laws. There are no officially recognized political parties. Following the first municipal elections, in 2005, elections to select half of all municipal councilors took place in September 2011.The king has broad powers with limitations coming from the need to observe the sharia an other Saudi traditions ,he also must maintain census among the royal family.
According to Saudis economy, oil was discovered by the united states geologists in the 1930s,although large scale did not begin until after world war two. Oil wealth has made possible rapid economic development. Saudis oil reserves are the largest in the world and Saudi is the worlds leading oil producer and exporter. Oil accounts for more than ninety percent of the countries exports and seventy five percent government revenue.
Saudis foreign policy objectives are to maintain its security and its paramount position on the Arabian peninsula,defend general Arab and Islamic interests,promotes solidarity among Islamic governments and maintain cooperative relations with other oil producing and major oil consuming countries.
Saudi Arabia is known as the birth place of Islam which in the century following prophet Muhammad death in 632AD spread east to India. Islam obliges all Muslims to make the hajji or the pilgrimage to mekkah at least once in a life time if they are able to do so. The cultural presentation in Saudi Arabia is highly conservative ,the country officially adheres to the strict interpretation of the Islamic religious law (sharia),cultural presentation must conform to narrowly defined standard of ethics.
Most Saudis are ethically Arab. Some are of mixed ethnic origin and are descended from turks,Iranians, Indians, Africans and others .Most of those who immigrated as pilgrims and reside in the Hijaz region along red sea coast. Many Arabs from the nearby countries are employed in the kingdom.
Saudi Arabia is a beautiful ancient land rich in heritage with a number of exiting sports both ancient and modern such as came racing, horse racing,and football. Hundreds of facilities have been established throughout the kingdom so that all citizens can exercise and enjoy regularly popular spectator sports. At every level of Saudi education system, from kindergarten all the way to the university there is an emphasis on importance of sports.
The kingdom has many different types of sports facilities raging from major sports complexes to neighborhood facilities and clubs. The sports complex are located in large population centers with stadiums. The most modern sport in Saudi Arabia is soccer,It has a national team known as (alsogour)which means “the falcons” and is controlled by the Saudi Arabia football federation.
In Saudi, there is a significant importance in tourism in the last few years with high tech shopping complexes and beautiful tourist spots. Traditionally the country has been regarded as a sacred place for Islamic faith. More recently it has acquired greater proportions as the best place to spend a romantic vacation in the midst of stunning landscape.
