Each discussion forum REQUIRES you to use the following three paragraph format in order to earn full credit:
Paragraph #1 must start with the heading: “State your position on the issue”. Paragraph #2 must start with the heading: “Support that position with material that you have learned by reading the textbook”.
Paragraph #3 must start with the heading: “Provide a personal experience that you have had or have read about with that issue”.
Three paragraphs WITH THESE HEADINGS & SEPARATED BY A SPACE are mandatory to meet the requirements for full credit. Each paragraph should have a minimum of 3 complete sentences. If you have no personal experience with the topic, read an article and use that information to directly relate it to you for the assignment. Your answer must utilize the terms from the assigned textbook reading and online course lecture material. NOTE: One well thought out reply (prior to the due date) to a specifically identified classmate’s posting can earn 5 points extra credit on each discussion forum.
Rephrasing another students’ discussion is plagiarism! Your grade will be emailed to you within one week after the due date.
Plan ahead in case of techno-emergencies and system outages! There are no excuses for not getting a Discussion Forum in on time. If the Blackboard system is down, email your discussion forum assignment directly to me. Do not send attachments. They will not be graded.
Discussion 1 Laws and regulations in the U.S. are too complicated for managers to know. Managers should just hire attorneys rather than trying to understand the laws themselves.
Discussion 2 The internet has eliminated privacy. The constitution’s protections are now meaningless.
