You are the Director for Border Management in your customs administration. Over one weekend an incident involving your staff occurs on your border. The incident involves issues of Customs jurisdiction at international law. The Director-General has asked you for advice on the legal position of your Customs agency in the matter. You will provide him with written advice of up to 2000 words on the incident.
Purpose of assignment:
To consolidate your understanding of the principles of international law relating to customs jurisdiction. The assignment will require students to:
