Introduction
Communication competence is sending messages that can help in promoting the goals he or she sets. This happens when the person is upholding a thorough social acceptability. This act requires someone who is willing to commit to the consequences that relate to attaining the goals. With success in achieving the goals, set competence comes as a key aspect since the communicator has to compare his goals as well as methods employed with others to outcome a downy, productive, and pleasurable conversation. This is the most significant way to assess the echelon of one’s communication competence in progression of the course. Lacking trust of others results to using a lot of effort in a verbal war thus manipulating individuals.
Goal Setting
When pushing hard for the goals on communication competence the harder others stand firm. To win one must have dedicated the best efforts and at a greater expense linked to the association. The key components of competence are concern about others well-being, in addition to the relationship. To be considerate concerning others perspective and requirements as justifiable is an area that will help in improvement of the communication competence relationship (Wood, 30). When working as a group one has to thoughtful of others to have the group in a better position instead of being a self-centered person, which drags the group’s performance and interrelationship.
Empathy can be an additional action whereby since it entails looking at various situations from another member’s perspective to know how that occurrence feels like. In this case, one will be able to give in to the group in a manner that favors all the members without being prejudice. This aspect strengthens the bond among communication competence in a group. On communication competence, someone must have widened the assortment in communication abilities. This help in handling different situations encountered through communication. Flexibility is a key component since one has the ability to tackle any given situation at any time despite the circumstances (Wood, 9).
It prepares someone for the future by giving him or her extended scope on decision-making. The decisions made may have different impacts to the group as a whole and an individual especially that who makes it. Any choices made on communication entails a component that press forward to mutual achievements and other components trying to place the results in diverse directions. Given a society that is so urbane as the present, most planned projects demand the cooperation from a number of highly skilled individuals (Wood, 54). There are considerable demands in fulfillment and achieving goals set where handling it by a single individual will have so much pressure on him or her resulting insignificant outcomes. The numbers of problems encountered elevate, and they need resolving immediately to avoid cases of failure or derail from any unsolved issue.

Communication competence entails employing a number of actions that engage a group of persons with acknowledgeable attitudes towards handling situations at any given state and abilities to make the right choices. To be a first-class communication competitor one has to be sensitive when making decisions since there are some that result to an affirmative situation while others an unenthusiastic outcome. Flexibility is another aspect that needs exercising for an extended range in handling whatever issues encountered. Other qualities necessary in a legitimate competitor include commitment, understanding and an exemplary devotion.
