1. Using any Internet search engine (e.g. google), search the key words of your topic idea.
2. Look at four sites that you would consider valid for your research topic. Do not just choose the first four you find. Look closely at the URL, the description of the site, the search word combinations that come up in the site, and of course the title of the site.
3. Record the correct MLA citation for each site.
4. Look closely at what organization built the site, what the main purpose of the site is (general information, article, FAQs), and the rhetorical techniques used in the presentation of the site (layout, format, information links).
5. Write a short paragraph (3-4 sentences) on whether or not this site would be helpful to your research project.
