The essay is an analysis on “Charlotte’s web” movie. I have to demonstrate the argument of gender stereotype. The topic chosen is the gender role and the progressive view about female movement illustrated through Charlotte( the spider) and Fern(the young girl). In the movie both Charlotte and Fern are nurturing(mother role), and they have to make sacrifices to save Wilbur( the pig). They both have their own circle of life: Charlotte dies after she has the babies and Fern once she saves Wilbur, she meets a boy and she will start her own circle of life. We should talk about these two characters voices. Charlotte’s voice come of through the web writing, in her attempt to save Wilbur( the pig) but also go get out of the barn for the last adventure of her life. Fern’s voice is noticed when she disobeys her father and argue with him in the attempt to save Wilbur. Fern ultimately ends up to be the Disney heroin.

The theses should refer to the progressive female empowerment movement, and the body should reflect all the arguments that support these process seen in the movie.
