Hominin Evolution
Identify and describe hominins.
Place the following species in order of appearance in the fossil record: Homo
neanderthalensis, Homo erectus, Homo floresiensis, Homo heidelbergensis,
Homo sapiens, Australopithecus afarensis. Indicate their geographic ranges
and timespans, and provide some examples of their defining physical
characteristics, unique behaviors and associated cultural materials. This
assignment may be formatted as a numbered list/outline.
