An annotated bibliography includes a MLA citation of the source (research) and a brief paragraph summary (annotation) of the source and how the source is applicable or not applicable to your paper’s thesis. The brief paragraph, the annotation,should be no less than three (3) separate sentences and no more than five (5) separate sentences.
Your annotated bibliography should include no less than nine (9) sources and should follow MLA format.Please see below for the specific assignment criteria, source stipulations, for the Annotated Bibliography:
- two (2) sources must be a print (a hard copy) book and not an e-book
- one (1) source must be an unpublished interview
- two (2)sources must come from a reputable website, which does not include wikipedia.com or any other reference website
- four (4)sources are your choice, but they must be credible (high ethos) sources appropriate for writing at the college level for readers who are critical thinkers within an educational institution
