Please prepare a 15 min Power Point presentation on your capstone project. You will be
and Sunday April 12th for male students. All MRIS Cohort I students are required to attend and
present in their respective days. Your presentation should include the following slides at a
minimum:
1. A title slide – you should clearly state your current working title. This title may not be
your actual final capstone project title, but try to make it as accurate, informative and
descriptive as possible. It should also show your full name. The date of your
presentation and “Cohort I”
2. Specific aim – this slide should clearly and cogently state the aim of your project.
Succinctly state the nature of the problem and your proposed practical incremental or
total solution.
3. An introduction slide – you should provide an overview of your project with ample
orientation to the audience. It should provide enough background information so that
the audience may follow the rest of the presentation easily. You may wish to use more
than one slide for this purpose, if you wish.
4. A methods slide – in this slide briefly describe how you identified the problem you are
tackling in your project, how you collected the relevant data, how you analyzed the data
and why.
5. A results slide – in this slide you will provide your results and proposed solution(s) to the
problem you worked on.
6. Limitations – in this slide, clearly state the limitations of your results, if any.
7. Acknowledgement – in this slide provide credit to those whom you wish to
acknowledge, for example, people who helped you perform this project and so forth. In
other words, this slide is your plat form for expressing your thanks and gratitude to
anyone that you wish to say thank you to.
8. Save your file as AU_C1_CSP1_Last Name-First Name
9. Email me your presentations no later than Friday April 10th 12:00 AM local Riyadh Eme.
For this session’s presentation, you will need to have slides 1-4 for sure. If you are able to
present slides 6 and 7, please do so. You may wish to review the evaluation rubric that I sent
you a few weeks ago. It will provide you with a reasonable guideline on how to prepare and
present your work.
