What objectives from the textbook will I be addressing?
The research paper will focus on the importance of accounting for managers and decision makers, describe the users of accounting information systems, and explain the standards of ethical conduct (IMA) including Competence, Confidentiality, Integrity, and Credibility. Some organizations do not use their resources effectively and efficiently such as financial, technological, and human resources. Accounting is one of the most important aspects of an organization. It is a perfect aspect that can be used to motivate employees to be more focused on their tasks. In addition, the standards of ethical conduct can improve the performance of their employees. Therefore, applying these standards within an organization will lead to significant outcomes. My research paper will be addressing the following questions:
– What is accounting? And why is it important for managers and decision makers?
– What is (IMA)? And how can ethics impact employees’ performance, especially accountants, within an organization?
– The relationship between ethics and organizational performance.
What chapter will I rely on for my theory?
While writing this paper, I will rely on chapter 3 which focuses on managerial accounting and standards of ethical conduct (IMA).
What is the research benefit from writing this paper?
By completing this paper, I hope to gain a better understanding on the importance of accounting for decision makers and the standards of ethical conduct. It will help me understand the concept and how to apply and utilize these standards in administrative positions in my future workplace.
