For this assignment I am supposed to go to a dance theater in NYC and watch 2 dance shows to answer these questions:
1) What dance would you like to have choreographed or performed and why?
2) Contrast and compare 2 different pieces of choreography – style, music, production, movement qualities, etc.
I chose “THE JOYCE THEATER” because they have a show called “LION OPERA BALLET” coming up this Wednesday and I have to take the ticket as proof that I went. I need you to make up the answer to these questions choosing this show as my favorite and comparing it to any other show you can find in NYC related to dance.
