After read the book (Strength In What Remains, which the author is Tracy Kidder) from chapter 1 to chapter 8, write an essay about:
Argue what you believe is(are) the most significant obstacle(s) facing Deo in his struggle to survive and/or thrive in America. Choose 1-2 main obstacle(s), considering the UDHR articles that have been denied, as well as Deo’s own personal and cultural conflicts.
I consider that the most significant obstacles are:
1.He can not enjoy the right to be treat as human.
(In the UDHR which I send to you, the number 1, it said “Everyone is born freed and has dignity because they are human”. But Deo has not get this right.)
2. He doesn’t have right to deserve not to be hurt, like in the text he got hurt by grocery host and got rob.
(In the UDHR, the number of 5, it said that “Everyone has the right not to be hurt, tortured or treated cruelly)
3.He did receive equally treat, for example when he deliver stuff to apartment or house, the manager usually ignore him, he didn’t expect them to respect him but respect their food
(In the UDHR, the number 7, it said that :”The law is the same for everyone and should protect everyone equally)
You can choose what I choose. You also can choose other rights in UDHR which I have uploaded.
