Reasons for My Application to Undertake a Course in Pharmacology at University of Wisconsin-Madison
It is an undeniable fact that, pharmacy is an ever-changing and interesting field in our society today. The most intriguing aspects of the profession are the wide opportunities available. A versatile education background in pharmacology lays a strong ground for one to be competent and offer solutions in the health sector. My personal motivations and interests in pharmaceutical professional started when I was young. Often, my parents tell me that I always pretended to be a doctor and this interest grew immensely with time. Indeed, my inclination and passion to become a pharmacist developed out of my concern for other people. I care so much about people and thus would do anything to contribute to their well-being. To develop my passion, I have researched the reactions in the best pharmacologists in the country. In this regard, I have studied the reactions that occur in different environments via chemistry classes. My interests in microbiology have increased my understanding in pharmacology.
After evaluating different universities, the University of Wisconsin-Madison is the best choice for me to actualize my dream. The University’ school of pharmacy has a tailored curriculum, which equip students with adequate knowledge in both in theory and practical classes. Madison allows its students to partake many researches. Thus, it would be an honor to work with experienced and competent pharmacologists as I pursue my certification. I look forward to learn both the technical lab skills, and other essential characteristics that birth the best scientists. I look forward to attain important skills throughout my college life. Apart from schoolwork, I will also take advantage of various extracurricular programs offered in the University. I look forward to joining the volleyball team.
